Reception Venue: Oasis Manila

Immediately after surveying the church, we went to Oasis Manila. It was raining so hard that day so we decided to take a tricycle. It was the shortest trip ever as it is very near the church. If we walked, it would have taken us about 2-3 minutes only.

There were three venues available and what we chose is “The Lounge” which is just ideal for an intimate affair like ours. We had about 120 guests which is the minimum capacity of the area. We were very happy that the AE (accounts executive) assigned to us was very helpful and friendly. Being the meticulous couple that we are, we bombarded her with tons of queries. She didn’t even show the slightest trace of annoyance. In fact, it seems like she was genuinely enjoying our conversation. It also helped that she worked previously in Dubai so we immediately clicked. However, our account was handed over to another AE about only a month to go before the wedding because our original AE resigned. We felt anxious as we worry about whether there would be proper turnover of our wedding details. Fortunately, they showed every bit of professionalism and everything was apparently handled very well.

There were many inclusions in their package too. It meant a lot since it took away about half of the other things we had to worry about. The only thing that I regret not being able to experience was the food-tasting Ü. They have several accredited caterers and you get to pick which one you prefer. Of course, choosing meant actual sampling of their dishes (drools hehe). We had to delegate this task to my parents who actually enjoyed it (who wouldn’t?). Finally, their vote went to Kusina ni Kambal.
